THE INITIATIVE
- here at the pool -
is a cooperation between Vienna and Belgrade. We want our "international cultural event" to be out on the street and later down under the bridge. The aim is to gain a new perspective and interest in our city, which so many are leaving.
UNDER THE BRIDGE
shall provide an alternative to the utter and stereotyped view on any other culture and stands against symbolic isolation and formal upgrading of socalled "authentic" moments within cultures. From our perspective culture is a various, changing, unstable act and always related to the single person. Intercultural activity is direct contact, dialoge and openess for all kinds of cultures and expressions.
